Merkur Casinos upgrade partnership with Spintec

Merkur Casinos, a subsidiary of the renowned Merkur Group, is making a clear statement about technological innovation and gaming convenience. By expanding their collaboration with the Slovenian manufacturer Spintec, they are consistently driving forward the modernization of their casino locations. A particular focus is the Spectra ETG solution, which has now been introduced in all ten Merkur casinos in Lower Saxony – a strong statement for the future of electronic table games.
A total of 125 gaming stations have already been installed at six locations as part of the partnership. Now the next stage is underway: Merkur Spielbank Monheim, one of the largest casinos in Germany, has been equipped with 44 state-of-the-art Spintec stations. Housed in a two-story "Experience Arena," guests can expect a new gaming experience. There, they can seamlessly switch between automated roulette, live roulette, and even live blackjack—depending on their mood. Two automated roulette wheels and a modern live blackjack table ensure a diverse gaming experience.
New standards for gaming experience and technology
Spintec's Spectra line is known for its user-friendly design, which combines a modern look with robust technology. Features such as particularly sturdy safety glass, a central ceramic body, and an optimized field of view of the roulette wheel ensure a pleasant gaming experience. Furthermore, the terminals impress with interactive features such as the "Hotspot" mode with multipliers up to x6 and the "Lucky Number Jackpot." The "Galactic Spin," a bonus game with a space theme, is also part of the ever-growing range of features.
Another advantage: The Spectra stations can be flexibly integrated into existing gaming environments, enabling the creation of attractive, interactive gaming areas. This makes them an ideal addition to modern casinos like Merkur Spielbanken. The focus is not only on efficiency and gaming comfort, but also on a diverse offering for a discerning audience.
The collaboration between Merkur and Spintec is not limited to Germany, however. Both partners are also demonstrating innovative strength abroad: In Spain, 50 Spectra gaming stations were recently installed within just four months. The expansion there is being supported by Merkur Dosniha, the region's long-standing distribution partner for electronic table games. This development demonstrates that Spintec products are enjoying strong international demand – even in more conservative gaming markets.
David Schnabel, CEO of the Merkur Group, sees the partnership with Spintec as an important strategic decision. He emphasizes that the casinos' success is based on a clever mix of innovative technology and classic gaming offerings. The Spectra ETG solutions will further enhance the entertainment portfolio and make it even more attractive for guests.
Goran Sovilj of Spintec adds that they are particularly proud to have established themselves in the traditionally demanding German market. The successful collaboration with Merkur demonstrates their ability to impress with quality, service, and future-oriented technology.
With their latest rollout in Lower Saxony, Merkur Spielbanken and Spintec are setting a strong example for the future of brick-and-mortar gaming. The combination of high-tech, convenience, and gaming depth is sure to attract a lot of attention – and not just in Germany.
